I just heard out here on sports radio that some of the best pitchers now come from college baseball and get to the majors alot faster than high schoolers do. It just seems like everyone in the college ranks now throws in the 90's.

College baseball is "big" at like 20 schools. Not entire regions

I've only been to see the reds.

And I don't really remember any of my trips. Pretty sure I was drunk by the time I got off the boat every time. I do remember walking back to ky over the singing bridge.

I will not set the wine down, though I admit to feeling it more than I should. I should not skip dinner then drink.

I would say it's pretty big in the bigger conferences and warmer climates

SEC, Big 12, ACC, PAC 12

Fwiw I was down in Clearwater/St.Pete last year and I did see the Iowa st. Team having their spring training down there. They stayed in our hotel everyday after practice we saw them with cases of beer coming back from the fields. My youngest son told me he wants to play college baseball one day

I've been to the horse track in Covington you were probably walking to.

I've been to a few Reds games too. It's a good baseball town. Just not on the same level as St. Louis and Chicago.

My dad was pretty excited about UK's year. He played for them.

Stupid Louisville.

That's turfway and it's in Florence

Definitely not walking distance. I haven't been there since before they installed the stupid polytrack.

We'd just park on the ky side and drink until it was time to take the boat over. It was fun.

Is it Florence? Florence, Hebron, and Covington all run together.

I've usually eat at The Montgomery Inn either before or after Reds games. Worst BBQ restaurant I've ever been to, but awesome view of the river and stadium.

I haven't been in forever. Last time was homer bailey's first year.

Then I also went to a Louisville bats game when he was shipped down to them
