You haven't.

Last time I saw the Gunners I believe Screaming Trees warmed up for them.

What do you consider a decent book?
For me if I read it would probably be set around civil war times. For some reason I love that time period.

Watching Fargo episodes on Netflix
How's that show? Any good?

Looking for a series to start and was thinking about Fargo. Any opinions from those who've been watching it?

I don't know if you remember the band "Faith no More"

Had a song that went something like "they say what is it" but they opened and were followed by Metallica. Highlight for me was Axle Rose playing piano and played "November rain" the first time live.

I guess since your cubbies are struggling to stay at .500, you're pissed at the world and everything about baseball sucks right now?

I love baseball. I'm pretty ok with my defending champ cubs, much better than most of my life watching them.

Knot you ever been to Wrigley field?

Never been but Wrigley and fenway are on my bucket list. Gonna be going soon because only got one more on child support so I will be freeing up some monthly spending $ now.

Eta: I don't know where you live that's why I asked

Pretty much everyone who has mentioned it to me says the same thing as you. Most like it but just starting it.

The few that I know who have been watching since the beginning are big fans of it.

I guess I'll have to start it. I've been watching documentaries while falling asleep for the last few months and looking to switch it up for a bit.

Just curious, although I think you're just being an arse, but why do you think it "blows"?

I mean, it's a collegiate sport, it's not going to be the highest level of it, just like the other collegiate sports, but it's still a good product.

About 5 years ago on here myself and a few late nighters would have old school club night. Myself, Lurkr, nurse, and the late CT (RIP) Would try and remember old Louisiana club music we used to listen to. This one I used to love

Yes been to wrigley multiple times and Fenway once. I'd highly recommend both but I'm partial to wrigley. Just a really great experience for a baseball fan. Don't expect great amenities like the newer parks though

I don't really feel like having this convo again but, all the really good hs players go pro before college, they don't use wooden bats, only a few colleges really care about it so there isn't much competition, etc.

I think certain areas of the country prefer different sports other than the big two, football and basketball. I know in the northeast lacrosse is huge down here I don't give two shits about lacrosse. College baseball is big in the south, southwest, Midwest and in calfornia though.

I spent more time at The Kingfish than I did in class. I actually have that record.

I've never been to Fenway, but I've been to Wriggly a bunch. As a Cards fan, I hate to admit it, but the whole Wrigglyville experience is awesome.

The new Busch is very nice too. Chicago and St. Louis are the 2 best MLB cities that I've been to by a lot.
