Honestly, the cheap one was amazing until a makeup artist used the 2nd. Only then did I see the difference. I usually use the cheap one daily and the expensive one for more "special" occasions.

Completely understand. I use a little bit in between my brows and a little on the outside of my brows. I actually don't have any resting face wrinkles but the outer brow Botox completely got rid of my squinting wrinkles and the inner brow Botox got rid of almost all my tension headaches. It was life changing.

I hate to admit it but you are probably right about all the eye and face creams all women buy and they SIT unused. With that money we could afford expensive treatments but botox scares me. I will stick to high end stuff with collagen, vitamins Ds and stuff...

Everybody is afraid they will look like Joan Rivers. And have fake face.

where do they inject botox for headaches? Was this at that spa place you talked about awhile ago that has one where I live?

Some doctors actually offer this in their office. I know lots of dentists who do Botox on the jaw muscle. It's treatment for TMJ but it also helps with tension and can even make the jaw appear slimmer (Bethany Frankel is the perfect example of this. The results were dramatic).

For my headaches, we injected the Botox into the muscles I found contracted when I was experiencing the tension headaches. I put dots on the muscles while I had a headache then took a pic. I had my spa inject there.

You can get Botox just about anywhere but I would def go to someone who was recommended. The spa I use is owned by a nurse practitioner who practiced medicine for 15 years before she went the spa route.

They also use Botox injections for excessive underarm sweat and in some gastro conditions.

It's crazy how versatile that stuff is.

I'm still scared of it.

Maybe one day I'll get brave.

Didn't know that. Interesting.

I was terrified of Botox forever bc the only examples I saw of its use were the way overdone cases. Once I decided to give it a try - in very small quantities - I was shocked by how many people I knew confessed to using it - in very small quantities. I would have never guesses they used Botox bc I only thought of frozen face.

I order from Sephora online and go in Ulta. Bare minerals foundation and powder. I am actually using a Mary Kay mascara that someone recommended even though I never use Mary Kay. Aussie hairspray is awesome. Aunt Jessie's jelly curls seems to be really good for curl definition aspy.

Everyone says Bare Minerals is the best. I've looked into it and may need to splurge on their foundation next time.

Cajunangelle, I LOVE This Is Us, it's so good and has me crying every episode.

Oh, thanks squirrel!

I'm always looking for stuff that doesn't leave curls crunchy.

I'm dreading next week. I can already tell it's going to be an ugly cry episode.

I think Kate is scared. Toby rocks and I think she doesn't understand why he loves her. She shut out letting anything good happen to her after her dad's death. She thinks she doesn't deserve to be happy, IMO.

I tried bare minerals and never went back to anything else. Loreal makes a knockoff that is decent if I am low on funds lol. No crunch at all to the curls and no wet look. Kinda weird dryer sheet smell but works well.
