Can't wear mascara. Makes my eyes look like a road map. One of these days might try false eyelashes. I'm old, might as well try before I die.

Almay smart shade mousse at buymebeauty.com serves as a primer, concealer, and make-up and it is perfect for dry skin. Try it. It goes on white like a moisturizer then smart shades your skin. They have light,light-medium and darker.

Hair related rather than make up related. Kill frizzy hair with Lubricity. A treatment made in Baton Rouge. I tried it and love it. Check out Lubricity Labs. I am in no way connected to the business.

Thanks Cajunangelle. Was looking around for something that works with dry skin.

when something works they discontinue it.
it was discontinued and they worsened the product as it is today in a tube. it can be bought here at the place to buy discontined make-up- LINK it may take 4-5 business days but you'll love it.
And Owl. I don't think you did anything to get this thread anchored...

hey ladies! my PT bestie cajunangelle linked me over here for my .02. when it comes to mascara, i've tried a bunch of brands over the years, but always make my way back to this one...
my absolute can't do without these days is this little treasure, works like a charm. shadow will not fade or crease..it will look just as fresh in the evenings as when you put it on that morning. just a little dab before you shadow.
for foundation, while i usually go with one of the Loreal offerings, i've recently discovered this one by IT cosmetics. nice coverage without looking heavy, and it has a touch of illumination that it gives you a fresh, glowy look.

if no one responds to you it's because some jackass got this thread anchored. Such a shame.

I've got this thread bookmarked so I'll keep checking until they delete it. Might be better anchored anyway. That why the guys will forget it's here and stop trolling.
I love Two Faced Shadown insurance.
Is that mascara the old fashioned Maybelline? If so, question for you - have your eyes ever become swollen and/or itchy when wearing? I asking bc I tend to use higher end products and was hoping to find some that still worked and bring down by spending. Went back to Maybelline mascara and woke up with swollen itchy eyes the next day. Friend who was a nurse immediately asked if I'd used Maybelline mascara by any chance bc apparent,y there are a ton of people allergic to it.

I want to talk about eyebrows for a minute. Anyone get theirs dyed or color their own?
Posted on 3/13/17 at 8:49 am to LSUGrrrl
Now that you mentioned that about Maybelline I have used their eyeliner and my eyes were swollen. But when I use Almay they don't swell.

I don't do too much with highbrows but pluck them. When I had a make over years ago someone drew them on and I could not stand it but my friend said I just wasn't used to it.
HAIR STYLES
I have long thick wavy curly natural hair. Has anyone tried the inverted bob cut to make hair styling easier because they live on a beach?
Grrrl, what was the name of the spa again? I checked last time you told me and had one here and forgot about it.

I just bookmarked the thread as well. Good idea.

I like defined eyebrows because they frame the face. My get lighter bc I spend so much time outside with tennis. I did have my aesthetician dye them for me for a long time but I recently started doing it myself. Was just wondering if anyone did this. So much better than penciling in.
I don't have curly hair - just wavy - but my sister does. I don't think that would work well on her hair bc it would be way to short making her curls tighter and more difficult to manage. Have to considered long layers - NEVER razor cut - to make styling easier and take some weight off without making he curls too springy?
