i should have been writing down dates and names and times - not jotting down how i feel. that would have saved some heartache.

I don't know you that well but I learned something the hard way. A person who truly and genuinely interested in you will make time for you and give you that feeling like you are the only person they see in a crowded room. I can't really quantify how to see that, but you just know. You don't have to make deals inside your head to be with them.

I know exactly what you mean.
When you are looking for something meaningful because you want it so bad, you are willing to overlook things to gain that feeling you desire so much.
You do things that if someone showed you a video, you would be screaming at yourself and saying expletives.
As least you are aware of yourself now and can recognize it if it happens again.

that means i have to recognize they exist.
i don't know the actual truth, and i'll never get it. it kinda drives me nuts not knowing the truth.i just feel like collateral damage.
