It's been a while since I've been this excited about a "product"

Me too! We'll actually venture out a lot more instead of just having the friends over for drinks.

Will Über pick me up in the galvez area? I see it has cars listed on the map but it won't show me an estimated time.

I just signed out. I never got a phone call or anything.

It dropped the pin by accident then I noticed some car heading in that direction. I never dropped a pin where I wanted to be dropped off at either nor did I confirm a pickup.

You can never know

You have to hit request black car and then it will confirm the driver with a picture, sounds like you were in the clear

so what are the normal cars they will be picking up in?

I also predict the app will crash if everyone in BR is trying to use this service

I predict a huge drop off in the number of ride requests in/out North BTR after the initial 2 week promotion expires.

it may have some kinks initially but I'm pretty sure they have it figured out since cities much larger than BR use it successfully everyday

1) this is a company that is based and started in San Fransico. If it didn't crash there it it's not crashing here

2) it's still a dirty little secret. I try to talk to my friends and family about it and they have no clue what it is and can't grasp the concept usually. It'll take a while before "everyone" in BR is using it or familiar with it.

I know in SF there are some issues with the clock, as in it says your driver will be there in 5 minutes, when it really takes about 10 or so. Also it'll say your driver is now arriving, when in reality your driver's about 2-3 blocks away.

Ill take this all day over calling yellow cab and them telling me it'll be 2 hours. Or telling me 30 minutes and then never showing up
