Schools are fricking stupid.
I know kids that got caught with weed, booze and acid at school and the longest anyone missed school was to leave for the day to sober up. They had other punishments. One is a loser, but one ended up becoming a game developer and the other is an orthopedic surgeon. 40 days would have fricked both of them up.
