Lawn Care - Weed N Feed? Or Other?

Looking to see if spraying and killing weeds, then coming back a week or so later with some fertilizer is the way to go, or do Weed N Feed? I've heard mixed reactions so I was wondering what the OT had to offer...

I spread weed n feed on my yard annually, but it's in pretty good shape and has minimal weeds. Feels like it is getting kind of late in the season for weed n feed.

I see a good opportunity wth the rain we may get this weekend, and I also have some time to finally do it
