Jeff was a complete dumbass, TWC is obnoxious. Can’t anyone talk about weather without going off the deep end?

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I remember for Katrina everyone woke up the next day and said

Oh it wasn’t as bad as we thought

then the levees started going. So I don’t think they are out of the woods yet.

Totally different situation than we have here.

If windows didn’t blow out with 133+ gusts, then strong arse windows. You don’t have to add crazy with down trees, ac units, and debris.

I have been waiting since that storm in Fl to see cantore be taken out by a wind gust though.

From TWC: “The trend is not your friend.” Wow.

We have actual water data from Calcasieu Pass which is where the water will come from showing it's currently 6.5 feet below where it peaked for Rita and dropping.

I gotta say, the caption set me up for disappointment because it said wait until the end and the big flash was 2/3rds of the way through the video.

It made me expect something huge when I saw there was 10+ seconds left.

My point is not that nonexistent levees might fail, my point is that the surge lagged behind the eye.

Would be amazingly great news if accurate.

people dont realize how good (Relative) of news it is that we actually have data still coming. These monitoring stations bust if the water gets too high

The Shreveport radar shows a tornado warning for the parish south of Sabine Parish. However the National Weather Service page does not show any tornado warnings out at all. Do any of you weather guys have any clarification on this conflict of information?
