Eyebrows didn't get singed. I had a baseball cap and my bangs pulled back in a headband.
I went to light our campfire ring we bring with us camping....turned the valve to far and I leaned in too low. So when I lit it....WHOOOSH went the fire up my face.

Ahh. Actually, I'd been in Baton Rouge since fall of '11. Moved back up north to be closer to wife's family a couple months ago.
Speaking of ratchet cities, I was just recently reminiscing on a few trips to Platinum Plus(RIP) in yours. Shame it is no more.

No doubt. It was in a class of its own.
About 6 months ago I saw a bunch of laborers going in and out of the building. I was curious so I stopped in to see if it was being remodeled and opening again. But they were just gutting all of the fixtures to sell at auction.
