Late Model Ford F150 Sync MyFord (not touch screen) Update Problems?

Not sure where to put this so I settled on the OT.
Anyone with an F150 with the above mentioned audio system try to do the update to version 4.4?
Update has been out since November, I believe, and I'm reading numerous forums with people having all kinds of issues getting the update to complete yet I'm also seeing some say they got it to work.
Anyone here have an experience with this?

If you want a legit answer then i'd try the tech board. if you want sarcasm and unless information then you've come to the right place.

I frequent the tech board a quite a bit. I don't get the feeling that any of those guys are automotive inclined.

I tried to update my 2010 Expedition a couple weeks ago and the file would not install properly. I gave up and will just try again later

I didn't even see that part, mine has NAV. Thanks for reminding me.
