Lasik?

I paid $3400 with Dr Williamson in BR.

Best money I ever spent. I went from beginning to need bifocals to 20/15.

Some people told me to shop around but I'm not having discount eye surgery. Dr. Williamson has been doing it forever.

The procedure is pretty wild in that you can see him fold your eye open while he is listening to some old rock and talking LSU football with you.

really good results; i think it was around 1800 per eye.

over time your eyes can change a bit; it only guarantees to "lessen your dependency" on glasses not 20/20 vision.

i actually after a few years ended up near sighted in one eye and far sighted in the other. my eyes switch dominance depending on what i'm doing so i don't need reading glasses or regular.

Don't know about the price because the military paid for it, but I had it done in 2010 and it was the best decision of my life. My eyesight is still really good. I did notice that I'm more sensitive to light than I used to be, but sunglasses take care of that.

They put a shite ton of deadening drops in your eye, and have you take valium before you go there to help you relax.

Really wasn't bad at all. I went to the movies the next day

They give a steroid drop and antibiotic drop to use for a week or so, and you have to wear goggles when you sleep for 4 or 5 nights so you don't rub your eyes while you sleep.
