Oooohh, man! Now you got memories going here.

Starting to wonder if we ever crossed paths.

Possibly, but when I skimmed at Alleman, there was only one place you could get a board - a homemade one at a house in River's Bend.

The one with only one screen? It was actually the biggest one seat wise even though they only showed one at a time.

I remember the Twin Drive in on Doucet, where Red's/the movie theatre/Zeas is now. When I was a kid, around five, I remember driving home from dinner with my parents, going down Doucet road and seeing a huge breast on the screen. Those were the good old days.

If you got a board from any of three brothers named Chris, Byron or Jonathan, we likely met each other.

now that is what I am talking about

I saw a Beastmaster and Clash of the Titans twin bill there. My stepdad had an old isuzu B2000 pickup and we would sit in lawnchairs around the back with an ice chest and watch the movie

when they were making Caffery a four lane the old part was elevated and the new part was about 5 feet lower. i once saw an older lady try to turn off the road into a parking lot and she missed the drive that sloped down and drove right off the road getting stuck with her car nose down in the mud

I actually liked that movie, but man, the special effects made the old Japanese Godzilla movies look like they were produced by Industrial Light and Magic, circa 2010.

You dare diss the great Ray Harryhausen.

Actually, I saw a lot of Godzilla movies at that drive-in.
