I don’t understand what the LA Comissioner of Higher Ed even does. I just imagine an endless number of meeting where nothing gets done, but people determine more money must be thrown at it and people go around saying if you believe you can succeed then you already have succeeded.

This is a disaster and most people are too dumb to realize it. College isn’t valuable simply because they teach you stuff. It’s valuable because it serves as a filtering process.

A college degree will no longer be valuable if everyone goes to college because colleges are incentivized to graduate as many people as possible and/or keep people enrolled. Also, the more people who go to college the more expensive college gets. This socialist idea that everyone needs to go to college is completely illogical. The dumbest people in our society eat it up.

when everyone has a degree, it becomes worthless

they dont want to be told this, but that degree from a place like southern will become even more worthless than it already is if this plan comes to fruition
