Have you looked at the Defevers? I think I like them the most out of the 80/90’s trawlers.

Honestly, still in the dream phase. Haven't started looking at anything seriously. Think I'd like a single screw diesel trawler, but a cat is interesting too.

Under 45' makes the boat really easy to handle for a couple- but the amenities are exponentially better in a mid-50' And a mid-50' feels huge for a couple living aboard for an extended period.
