Sounds like a county employee had some sort of power trip...

Amazing how people act when someone is trying to do something good...

https://www.ksn.com/weather/weather-stories/reno-county-commission-approves-local-disaster-declaration-after-plevna-tornado/

The Reno County district attorney should be reminded
quote:

Reno County Commission unanimously approved a State of Local Disaster Emergency. The commission chair had verbally approved the measure the day after the tornado, but this vote formalizes it with full board support.

And if Good Samaritan Laws have not been enacted in Kansas it should be a part of his to ask why they have not!

Instead of showing why they are needed.

Is anyone investigating why any county resource like that was not being already being used by county employees to help its residents after a tornado?

His unforgivable sin is showing the taxpayers how productive that machinery can actually be when not being operated by someone probably related to the DA.
