I knew the style and cut the fiancee wanted when I went shopping. I bought the diamond from bluenile and took it to elgins in BR to place in the setting. Very happy with the service and the fiancee loves her ring.

Whatever you do, don't be one of those people saying you got a $25k ring for $10k or whatever. Its annoying. Appraisal values are always overinflated.

It's just a terrible mixture when I'm a perfectionist and am educated in minerals and rocks, and all she wants is big and sparkly. That makes for a perfect, big sparkly rock. Terrible combination
