done a few work trips and stayed at Margaritaville. The Margaritaville Bar and Grille is nice and has plenty of TVs

Bonus: The buffet is pretty legit too and comes with free beer and wine

The new residence inn is nicer. I used to always stay at courtyard before it was done. If you're looking for walking distance, pretty sure there's a hooters and BWW in there.

BWW moved out a few months ago. I agree about the Residence Inn. I started staying there instead of the Courtyard when I go to Shreveport.

Twisted Root seems like a good place if you can get there and all you want is decent beer, good food and the game (no women looking to bang).
