We are all going to die. Even if there is a way around aging and they cure every disease there's still a big arse ball of heat in space that's going to burn up. There's no getting around it.

I don't want to know exactly when I am going to die, but yes, if I am in a group of people that's likely to die before what's normally mid-life I damn sure want to know. Abrupt death can cause crisis for people that don't know it's coming. It's a good idea to have your will in order because you never know, but you're a lot more likely to be contemplating the aftermath of your passing if you're pushing on 70 rather than pushing on 40. People that young think they're invincible. None of us are.
