What is it about this situation that people aren't understanding?
It's not about Obama, Clinton or Trump coming here physically.
Logistically, the people of South Louisiana understand that they really aren't going to help by physically being here. However, I took it as a slight that our commander in chief couldn't take a day away from the golf course to reassure citizens of South LA that help was on the way and to shed a national spotlight to make people aware of what was happening.
As for Trump, I think people were glad he came, not necessarily because he carried a couple of boxes, but because it caused more media coverage for the victims.
Even JBE came out and said he was glad Trump came because it cast a spotlight on the situation. This is all people really wanted.
