I have. 16 unlimited hard rock, it's almost time for new tires. Considering going with a 33" tire. Called a few places today, was recommended a leveling kit, 285/70/R17, and 1.5" wheel spaces to run them without issues.

BFG has a national back order for the KM2's. Would it be that much of a difference to run the 75 series tire?

No. Look for someone selling Rubicon takeoffs. You will get a steal of a deal on tires.

Seriously, you will pay around $400 for barely used tires that work perfectly. The leveling kit will make it look nice, but not necessary.

Rubicon tires are 255/70/17

If you're going to do a level kit you should just do a 2.5 lift (same amount of labor, not much less of price) and you could run the ko2 315/70/17 (34.5).

ETA I have a 2017 jku with 2.5 rubicon express and rancho shocks with 285/65/18 stt pros (33s) and can't wait for the day for them to wear out so I can go 35s.

True 32 though.

Plus it will save several hundred.

44s trussed and gusseted with 5.13s and e-lockers. Rear is running a 3-link, but can be run stock 4link.

Solids diff covers and synergy ball joints

Free? Because I would pay free.

Unless they are already welded up for a JK.

Talk to someone your local Jeep cub recommends before going bigger or wider. For example, talk to Phillip Losh with Searchers in Gonzales. He can explain Mopar vs direct vs cheap.

Phil's guys fricked up my truss install the first time and almost made me snap my axles. Did fix my death wobble as a result

But, it was fixed quickly and I do like those guys. Wish it wasn't so damn hard to get in there for work. Also wish I lived closer.

I ran Cooper ST Maxx great tire - if you are going to run spacers make sure you get a good set, I always ran spidertrax - you shouldn’t need to lift or level for 33s but may want spacers.
