Jeep rubicon question?

Just got a jeep rental for the weekend and it drives funny to me. When I let off the gas it slows down like someone is pressing on brake, is that normal.

It’s a hybrid most likely. And it has kinetic braking. Teslas do the same thing.

It will do that for me more in 4 wheel drive.
ETA: but yeh, I hope you didn’t rent for the smooth ride…but my JK drives like a dream compared to the TJ I had back in 99.

The aero is so bad, that getting off the gas at any speed over 50 feels like you dropped a drag chute....

There is a button on the dash below the radio. You can turn it off

The newer 8 speeds aren't as bad as an old 2000 3 speed auto
