Who's to say Zimmerman didn't get physical with Martin first? All we have is Zimmerman's side of the story because there are no witnesses and the other side of the story is dead.
Zimmerman is a violent hothead. How many times has he been arrested for beating women and/or threatening them with guns? Say Martin didn't give Zimmermann BS neighborhood watch cosplay and Zimmerman puts his hands on Martin and Martin was defending himself?

I've actually done that though. Was being chased by a psycho that was road raging so I doubled back and lost the guy instead of leading an aggressive psycho to my house. Worked for next Trayvon obviously wasn't so lucky.

You don't know that. There were no witnesses. All we have is the story of a repeat violent criminal that was trying to stay out of jail for killing a kid.
The only fact we can be sure of is that only Zimmerman knows for sure exactly what happened.
