The top recruit in the state attends/attended Provine. But typically the football teams aren’t very competitive but there’s athletes on the field, just not enough of them. Provine was good last year. Basketball is king in the JPS.

I live in the suburbs of Jackson. We live in a great school district and got a decent amount of house for our money. I work in the medical field and earn a respectable living here. There are undoubtedly much better places to live, but my family and i like it here.

No. Provine will slip into the playoffs every 3-4 years but the rest of the teams are bottom feeders.

I once watched Callaway return a kickoff 98 yards without scoring. If that wasn’t amazing enough. Three plays later they had to punt on fourth and goal.

Terrible teams.
