People used to say the idea of smart devices being able to spy on you was a conspiracy. That is, until they found out they can!


Not even remotely the same thing as controlling the powerflow into your house.

Explain to me how they would accomplish this with a device that fits in the same footprint your old electric meter fit in? Other than possibly just cutting of your electricity?

Additionally, if they really wanted to do that, they could simply put that sort of equipment at the pedestal or poll, depending on your particular service.
