I wanted to see it but my 14 year old son says it is like any other follow up in slap stick comedies. Overdone. He saw it and said they try to make everything funny. I trust his review he has the same taste in comedy as me. He is a chip off the old block. I am gonna wait for DVD release. He said Jim Carey was funny but Jeff Daniels sucked.

The greatness of movies like ace Ventura 1, first dumb and dumber, etc. with Jim Carey is his character's are serious and the storylines play along with that with the hilarious scenes spread out. In the followup movies its seems as if they try to hard to make every scene funny and lose the storylines. My .02

Fwiw. I just watched Me, myself, and irene with my son 2 days. It was his first time watching it. He laughed his arse off and so did i. I hadn't seen it in awhile. Dammit dem boys dicks as big as dem sausages. Jim Carey bows up defending his boys.

I named one of my fantasy teams Finkle is Einhorn. fricking undefeated, 100% sure its because of the team name (dude im playing this week killed it on the thanksgiving games so I may lose)
