This is getting close to the stupidest thing ever on the internet. I've heard both when I've listened to different recordings. Someone messed with the audio and put out multiple videos to cause this confusion. I've heard Laurel clearly on the TV. I heard Laurel a little less clearly on the computer. Then I found another video with Yanny clearly played simultaneously over Laurel to cause confusion.

Nah.

No someone is messing with the audio. The first time I heard it on TV it was clearly Laurel. Then I found a video online of a muffled Yanny what sounds like it's being played over Laurel. I haven't found a video of it clearly being Yanny yet.

That's because you found a video where it's supposed to be Yanny.
