It only took 6 hours to get from a Metairie to Orange beach…

West bound accident at the Mississippi/Alabama line had the Eastbound traffic backed up, went around 90 at Pascagoula saved about 30 minutes. West bound was backed up 7 miles. Then we hit the tunnel traffic at about 6:30, came to a standstill, finally get out of the tunnel, constant start stop traffic all the way till the Baldwin Beach exit…. Left the house at 2 got here at 8, in a driving rainstorm.

This can't be right. I thought the economy was too awful and gas prices were way too expensive for people to travel outside of their suburbs. That's what I have been told all year from the news and of course the panicans. I bet the panicans will never miss a day of Braxton''s travel ball with his shiny new $600 baseball bat though

The interstates ( especially I-65) will be like that from now until after Labor Day.

Well, Buc-ees was packed with Rednecks, to what looked like college professors to professionals, people spending their asses off..
