I read up on Watterson recently since I didn't realize he's from Cleveland. Calvin & Hobbes was never copyrighted and he never put out any merchandise for it, so literally everything you can buy (that arent the books) are just ripping off his work. Kind of crazy in today's landscape of intellectual property and epic court battles.

They should sue Clemson for using Hobbes likeness for their mascot.

It was said in some interview or documentary that Watterson was real upset by the "Calvin pissing on things" stickers.
He said something on the order of: "I don't recognize those characters. That isn't my creation" or something.
That was a great comic today, I thank the OP for bringing it.
