I never said that it didn't. Besides, they just copied what happened in Mississippi last month by burning that man. Let's focus our efforts in the US.
I don't agree with putting US troops in danger and spending tons of money on these animals. It's not going to end. It's like breaking up a fight and then going home, while leaving the two to fight again. Get out of there and let their governments deal with their problems. We can't afford to run the world anymore.

I agree that it's not going to end, but it will sure as hell go a long way in isolating the snakes that back these people and sending their asses back to the stone age.
There will always be extremists when it comes to ideology. Plain and simple. What the hope is, to keep those with extreme views out of leading the masses. The US didn't have any skin in the game through the rise to power with Hitler, or any other tyrannical sociopath out there, but it will ultimately have a direct impact.
These extremists have an impact on more than just those in the region. To isolate the conflict to just that region is too passive, not looking at the complete road map.
I'm not one for putting the US troops in danger either, I have never served, so I don't have much weight in saying that I would be okay with the order. I believe that you have the quell the beast with all the might of the world in order to prevent something devastating later - especially when it concerns so many of our true allies.

Pray for the people that are the victims of this group, and pray for the souls of the ones committing the atrocities.
We live in such a sickening age.
We live in such a sickening age.

I'm all for a good war, but there is zero retun on investing this much money right now. $6 trillion on the last two wars, up to $40 billion a year on these kooks, frick that. You are never going to knock them back into the stone age.
It's bad buisness. It doesn't make sense.

Leave them alone, you will never change that part of the world, ever.
I'm with you almost 100% except for one thing. If those animals take over that area of the world (notice the resource in all the areas they are attacking in Africa and the ME) what are we going to do about energy?
This should be the turning point to finally make an alternative energy source affordable. We can then tell them to frick up the ME all they want. Just don't come over here.

Ah, back to my first comment. Let the governments over there do the governing. You know they sit back and let American tax payers money take care of their problems. Let them hash it out for awhile. You can always come back later and put them in their place. Constantly being there, is hurting us more than not being there. Besides, if when their governments can't fight their own fights, the US can go back in and kill more per bomb, as their numbers would be greater. Economics...the world is cruel.

Over 15 percent of the Pentagon's budget is going to this BS right now.

We are the world's largest natural gas producer, and last year crude oil production surpassed levels not seen since the 1980's.
We need to ramp up our domestic efforts into being self-sufficient ahead of the predicted 2020 date predicted by Rex Tillerson.
The real issue is how we are EXPECTED by the World to intercede on maters that involve terrorism. Especially aggressions against our "interests" or our allies.
