True. As I creep up in age (42 now) Bourbon scares me. It is a time machine. 2 drinks and then buy that first 3 for 1 beer? It's 1996 again.

I've never been hookers and blow drunk though. But I have gotten mad and decided to wander off before. Only made to the bar on the other side of the club though. like an old dog on a porch. I'm pissy but not going far.

Had similar happen to a Houston businessman probably near 5 years ago. Manhunt, left without a trace. Security cameras tracked him to the river. Poor drunk bastard probably was black out drunk and walked off the edge. No foul play. No nothing. Just drunk and fell in river. Had to be horrible for the family. "Your loved one was shitfaced and clumsy, that's it" is not really closure. At least he hurt nobody, but damn.

NOLA and Vegas are similar in that people die just by being there. Just can't handle it.
