Is there any legit way to get your number put on the Do Not Call list?

I have done it before and it has done nothing.
I hit 9 or 2 to opt out and it does nothing.
I talk to "Rachel" or "Steven" and tell them to take me off and it does nothing.

National list through the .gov website.
They don't enforce that shite though.

Putting your number on one DNC list means putting your number on 50 other call lists. I block numbers and send emails to spam.

Whoever you talk to, just keeping making vulgar comments about their mother, and father. The more they talk, the nastier you get. I promise, they will put you on a DO NOT CALL BACK list.

If card services calls me one more time I'm going to have an aneurysm.

Don't answer calls from numbers you don't know. If it is important, they will leave a voicemail or e-mail or text. You get to avoid talking to pointless strangers that way.

Send me your phone number. I'll make sure it gets to the right people to get on the right lists.
Trust me I am trustworthy.

Here is how caller id works. Your phone rings once then the caller id is sent to your phone.
Most caller id reject boxes for home phones allow the phone to ring that first time then intercept the caller id and hangs up on the rejected caller.

I use the following. It is currently $110. Blocked numbers never ring in my house!

With the exception of Nomorobo, all of the robocall blocker devices could be installed on a landline or a VoIP phone ( “Internet phone”) with caller ID;
Nomorobo currently is available only for VoIP phones.
(We did not try out call-blocking apps for smartphones.)

You get those too??? Thought I was the only one getting the local #'s from people who obviously aren't in Louisiana or the USA. I've said some very choice words to those no good annoying pricks.

They rarely call my cellphone. Like once or twice in the last couple of years. Don't have a landline any more.
