For now, in some southern cities they’re buying up to 25% of the inventory. I guess we should just put our head up our asses and just act like it’s not happening until they own 10% of the inventory. Then we can worry about it once it’s too late

There’s no barrier to entry and you don’t learn anything from said finance degree.

Rent, car insurance, health insurance (and all the out of pocket) costs are ridiculously high these days. New home buyers have high prices and high interest rates. ETA homeowners insurance has gone way up too. Those are just things i’m seeing with my own eyes.

Interest rates aren’t high. People got too used to historic low low rates.

So the alternative is you can be a doctor or working poor?
Do you not see how that isn’t a good outcome? It’s an extremely simple concept

Well 30 or 40 years ago, everyone thought that person with a finance degree from Nichols
Nicholls started offering an accredited degree in finance in 1995 according to Nicholls' website.

He probably thinks doctors are retards too

I’m sorry you’re struggling. I believe people wrongly believe how easy things were “back in the good old days”. There are ways to make money now and just because you don’t get to make a great living how you feel like, doesn’t mean it’s not relatively easy with a little bit of critical thought.

This is staggeringly stupid from someone who seems otherwise fairly competent

I believe if you were capable of arguing without using non sequiturs, you’d be able to afford tires for you truck.

I can afford them, easily. That doesn’t make it not suck to drop $2k on something that was $1.2k some 5 years ago.
Again, really simple

The people that are now getting useless degrees from Nichols are the ones that were once comfortably living middle class in the trades, sales, etc.

Just as an extremely basic example in BR, do you think it’s easier to get an operator position at Exxon now or in 1980?

I make plenty of money, I could sit back and not give a shite. I’ve got mine. But the economy being good helps me even more. I’d rather retire at 50 than 55

All these old dudes think we’re in our early 20s and still living at home making minimum wage
