For the common cold? No. Why would it be?

Covid is caused by SARS-CoV-2, which Ivermectin is effective in inhibiting the duplication of.

The common cold is caused by rhinovirus, which, although a virus, is NOT SARS-CoV-2. Ivermectin does nothing to inhibit the duplication of rhinovirus.

Best thing for cold is simply to treat symptoms and wait it out. Drink plenty of fluids, take some Nyquil or something and call it a day.

This double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study says Ivermectin is no different than placebo...but it's a free country so do what you will. I don't care

“For common cold. No”.

Correct .
I got a cold last winter, first one in many years.Ivermectin didn’t help at all.
It worked really good when I got Covid.

So... pretty much equal to, if not actually better than, the vaccine, huh?

It’s quite interesting that the American media vilified Ivermectin as a treatment for Covid, when our own government says it is very effective against Covid

NIH National Library of Medicine

Ivermectin: an award-winning drug with expected antiviral activity against COVID-19

JAMA study-ivermectin is no different than placebo.

That’s bullshite. When I got Covid, ivermectin knocked out all my symptoms in 24 hours.I was fatigued for 3 days but cough fever, etc was gone.
Gave it to stepson,dtr-in-law,grandson and granddaughter,in every case they were over it in 24 hours. They didn’t have the lingering fatigue I did but I was a lot older.
I hate to break it to you but medical journals are compromised and have been for a long time.

Book you need to read-sickening ,How Big Pharma Broke American Health Care by John Abramson,M D.

At one time medical journals were diligent in ensuring the veracity of studies they published.Thise days are gone.Journals publish about anything because they don’t want to lose advertising dollars from pharma.
Journals also make quite a bit of money selling reprints of studies they publish used in marketing of their drugs.

Ch 1 he details the failure of Merck,NEJM and the FDA in the Vioxx disaster.

Here’s a quote by Marcia Angell:
“ It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published,or to rely on the judgement of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines.I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.”

Vaccine doesn't work either. No upper respiratory virus can be cured with a vaccine because of how rapidly those types of viruses mutate.

The vax and Ivermectin are both worthless.
Best thing is boosting your immune system naturally and proning. Using gravity and body positioning to reduce post nasal drip to prevent a secondary infection in your lungs is the only thing that truly works.

Paxlovid is good for people with compromised immune system. Doesn't alleviate symptoms in low risk people.

It appears they didn’t supplement zinc with it in the study, everything I have seen is that zinc supplements are needed
