I mean, me neighbor who lives in a 275k home, inside of a 250-350k neighborhood, who's wife drives an Escalade is currently on food stamps for their 5 kids and is wife is bragging about it on Tik Tok.

Friend of mine is a GM at a GMC dealership. A lot of cash transactions in the 50 -70K range. He suspects a lot of people are using their HELOCs to pay for it. Because his market experience is that few even in the 200K range have that kind of cash sitting in a savings account...much less a checking account.

I'm sure some of it's legitimate. I'm also sure most of it is not.
I know personally of one with a bullshite diagnosis. Sounds like he/she's getting 40k per year for the rest of their life. Was reserves. Saw no combat. On top of all the other benefits. Works right along side of me, who pays at least 40k in taxes every year.
