Until I get a memo from Webster's, they haven't redefined shite. Both sides have tried to redefine words to give them an upper hand in debates, but as long as well reasoned people can see through the tactic, it doesn't hold much weight.
Ironically enough, Orwell warned against exactly this and both sides site him as an indictment of the other (usually incorrectly).
