Is anyone else tired of the anxiety excuse?

Like anything else in the WebMD age, people tend to self-diagnose when there's a distinct difference in dealing with regular stressors and actual clinical anxiety.

Yes and no. Even with a diagnosis, mental health providers can be worthless.
Also, I understand what self diagnosis is, and it's kind of hypocritical when someone is triaging (anything medical) and ask the person what's going on.
I told a doctor what was going on one time with an issue, told them what, and asked for antibiotics. The nurse/doctor then said I can't self diagnose. Ironically, they gave me the antibiotics and I went to the ER the next day and I was correct with the issue.
Again, I know what you're saying Belle, but just like me people know what is going on with their body and doctors don't listen more often than not.
