Me too. The absolute worst. I have to make someone drive my car if my hangover anxiety hits while somewhere.
They call it hangxiety. Not joking.
Since COVID, I have been through a bankruptcy at work, which was no cake walk working in a tax department, lost all my grandparents, got married, just went through a major hurricane that destroyed everything a mile+ from my home. When my attacks hit, it is usually the same feeling of EXTREME stage fright. I walk by a conference room full of people or go greet someone in the lobby at work and I start shaking uncontrollably. It is such an awful feeling, because I know people don't give a damn of what I am doing, but I can't stop the physical reaction. I usually have to sit down and just let it pass. I absolutely hate it. I just started taking Lexapro to see if it will help.

That’s not a panic attack, it’s greening out.

More men have anxiety than women. Most men mask it with alcohol, marijuana, and don’t talk about it.
Fight or flight is the body’s natural physiological response.

All your emotions, etc. are chemical reactions. Hormones, etc. all play a role in it. Think of the last 10 seconds of sex, then think of the 10 seconds after sex.......like 180 degrees different? Some people have changes like that with their emotions, thank the good Lord I don't, but I've seen them.

It's life. Deal with it.
From experience. Not paying for anything free. Counseling, gym memberships, group therapy ... Dealing with it just fine. It is what it is and more importantly what you make of it. Stay tough.

Why does that fact that it's all in people's heads mean that it's not real?
If you've never had it, you won't. Consider yourself lucky.
My first one was stuck in traffic on I10 over the bonnet Carrey spillway. Don't wish that on anyone. Still get anxious driving it sometimes.
