I have a 6+ and my battery was bad. Really bad. Pretty much had to be plugged in 24/7. I recently learned of Apple’s battery replacement program. I scheduled an appointment and had my battery replaced today for 30 bucks and it is like a new phone.

During the process I learned about battery cycles. I was at 1,001 battery cycles on my old one. Here is some light reading on your iphone’s battery cycle if you’re interested.

iPhone Battery Cycle

TLDR: If you constantly have to charge your phone and don’t want to pay for a new one change your battery and be very happy with the results.

I have the same phone. The battery on it was shot when I got it. I took it to a cell phone repair store. They put a new one in. Now I swear this one sucks too. And it was supposed to be new.

Just went through the same process as well. I had to have my phone plugged in 24/7 and finally replaced my 6+ battery. It’s a huge relief and quality of life now haha

My phone tells me that my 6s is at 80% battery life. True or naw?

My 6S was at 80% as well. They didn't want to change it at the Apple store, but they are running a discount on replacing them until December of this year, so I made them replace it. I figured that it will give me two more years on this phone, so it is worth the $30.00

I’ve replaced my phone battery twice in the past 8 months. I have a 6 that is turning
4 years old. The problem is the phone is just too old to handle everything. Think the battery just gets drained from the phone trying to keep up with 2018 interaction on 2014 hardware. Other uses may soon experience a sharp decline in phone battery life, faster than the original battery

Just waiting for next iPhone to be released then will get new one

Just check, my 8+ (Purchased around October) has 93%. Seems to get through a full day no problem.
Wonder if it would be worth the $30 in another 5ish months to get a new battery.
