kind of like our last few will be looked upon in a hundred years.

Nah. Bush will be remembered for his stupidity and Obama will be remembered for fixing bush's economic mistakes and for revolutionizing our healthcare system

Just had to throw in that stuidass "Germans" didn't you? Even though it's a cool factoid which you even acknowledge. Well congrats, we're all impressed that you saw this here before.

This factoid is old as dick and has been floating around for years. I wasn't going to say anything, but your fit over the Germans comment is pathetic.

First part's right. Obama however will be remembered for his ability to deliver a joke at the correspondents' dinners. That dude could make me laugh even as he did more than his fair share to harm the country.

Obama's tenure will be remembered as the time Team America let the retarded kid into the basketball game who went on to score 20 points in five minutes.. For the other team.

should make people realize at 240 years old the US is just a tiny pimple on the history of civilization's arse.

This. Like most Americans, I think of things in our country as "old" (i.e. Ante-bellum homes, the White House) and then I went to Europe and peoples bathroom in their house is older than our country. It's all so relative it blows the mind. We are here for a flash and then we are all gone. Damn depressing.

You are a true lover of the Germans. You still crack up laughing every time you see it. You have yourself a knee slapping good time reading all the clever hilarious ways Germans is applied.
You've used Germans on other message boards, and once, at work, you even tried it in a real life conversation. It went over their heads. Nobody else outside of TD understands the humor. No matter: that's their problem, not yours. You will keep using Germans and keep developing Germans and keep laughing at Germans. Other people will get it, eventually. Just don't ever give up.
