That works both ways. If it weren’t for labor employees, the salesman wouldn’t have a job. Hence, there would be nothing to sell.

I make nowhere near $400k, but the second point you made is why i love being 1099.. at a certain point in life you get sick of answering to/trying to impress some dbag manager… obviously everyone has a ‘boss’ in some shape or form, but id rather my ‘boss’ be my customers , or companies i work with for 6 months; then if i dont like them for whatever reason i can move on, instead of sucking it up for years and developing an ulcer .
