Kids are at different levels of education. Freshmen take senior level classes at virtually every high school in the country. This method you’re going for doesn’t work.

It’s what my kids’ elementary school is doing. The ones who have to leave to go to an advanced class will do so. All the other students stay in their homeroom while the teachers come to them. But it would be a lot more complicated to successfully implement this in a highschool.

Other things our elementary is doing: The desks will all have shields and the bathrooms will be fogged every 2 hours. Lunch will be in the classroom, but on nice days/not 100 plus degrees or raining, they will eat outside.

Recess will be staggered and locations rotated (soccer field, playground, football field, church parking lot, & the grassy area)

No library check outs and no dressing out for PE. No morning assembly in the gym.

Carpool will be over the loud speaker. As the parent approaches with their carpool number visible the number will be called over the loudspeaker and those kids leave their classroom to meet their parent outside in the carpool line.

Classrooms, halls etc will be fogged after school periodically throughout the week
