When and what do you mean by “full ride”

It means everything is paid with some money left over for grad school

Full rides to those schools are almost always tied to how poor your parents are. Merit scholarships are exceedingly rare.

It is ridiculous that we have two State schools within 2 miles of each other. It is time to go ahead and do the right thing, LSU needs to be merged into the Southern University System.

With a 27? When?

That was unheard of even 20+ years ago when I attended LSU

Yes. They only had to stay in the dorms for the first year and had to pay for a meal plan. Those extra expenses were covered with their scholarships, grants and TOPS.

Damn. Thats awesome. Congrats. My oldest graduated in 2021 and got the top TOPS award (needed a 29) but that was it. And she had a TON of extra curricular too. Oh welll she graduated in May and is back in school. Decided to become a CRNA.

It’s a shame LSU has become the ghetto of the SEC.

LSU changed their compensation packages somewhere between 2022 and 2024

I know 2 kids that come from one of the wealthiest families in Nola that could afford to send their kids to any school they wanted to but BAMA still gave them both full out of state tuition. So they went to BAMA even though they are huge LSU fans.

LSU finally woke up and got tired of losing in state students

Well thats great. Wish they would have figured that shite out in 2021 thank goodness ULL is a fraction of the price of LSU. the younger sister is not an academically strong student.

Of course this boomer freak would take one single anecdotal example and extrapolate that out to thinking a 36 ACT score means a kid gets a full ride at Notre Dame and Georgia Tech.

What a retard. Put down the TV Guide and try to keep up.
