Double double animal style for the win.
If eating healthy same but with a lettuce wrap.

It’s a pretty good burger. But it’s not gong to blow you away.
What will blow you away is how awful the fries are. And I mean they’re absolutely terrible. It’s like eating cardboard, and I’m not being harsh.

When I lived in San Diego, there was an In and Out and a Carls Jr down the street from where I lived. I always went to Carls Jr.

Every In and Out I've been too was always busy to the point where it's challenging to find seating inside.
It's not as good as 5 Guys, but it's also much cheaper. Their burger and animal fries are much better than the other fast food/drive thru places. The restaurants are clean and the employees are solid - both areas where Whataburger sometimes has challenges and places like Mcdonalds, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Burger King consistently fall short.
They could definitely enter the Louisiana market, but they'll follow the Cane's, 7 Brew, and Chick Fil A model - carefully choosing suburban and urban locations where they can actually find decent labor. My guess is that they'll find a spot near major universities and interstates and move into middle class suburbs where they can find the right real estate. Something like Juban Crossing @ I-12 or Burbank @ Lee would be their targets if they can find the right spot.
Their labor needs will prohibit them from following McDonalds into every major intersection in every neighborhood and every Wal Mart outparcel.

They are opening a company headquarters in Nashville Tennessee.

Yeah I think their operations are moving there and their CEO has relocated. They are clearly targeting expansion.
Welcome sign from a company known for being very conservative with expansion.

I've never had it. Is it overrated or worth the hype?
it's overrated but a decent burger.
the shakes are yummy.
the only places i've seen with longer lines than in and out burger are dutch bros. coffee, which never made sense to me. in and out burger is a decent fast food burger (so, good for what it is). there's absolutely nothing at dutch bros. worth waiting in line for...
