Don't know what the article is about but one of the guys who discovered entropy offed himself because he was convinced static time theory was the case after his discovery. Therefore, since he didn't want to be always living as a decaying old man forever he killed himself to close the loop before his life got even shittier (he was going blind I believe).

I read this scary arse theory about how we all will eventually achieve immortality. We will see and accomplish every single thing in the universe, leaving us to commit suicide because we are bored and there is nothing else left.

That’s cool albeit wrong. We are in a simulation and once we develop true AI the simulation will end because the AI will have completed the loop.

With the crazy stuff going on in the world lately I can't help but believe that life is in fact a simulation.
We feeble humans have only the ability to comprehend what we see with our 5 senses. Sooner or later we will reach a breaking point.
