I'm tired of various reporters trying to shoehorn the coronavirus into their preexisting

Reporting on the coronavirus through the lens of identity politics, or class stratification, or wealth concentration, or religion, or gender inequities, or various other thinly veiled dogmas.
The coronavirus itself is a sufficiently urgent and gripping story. Report on the facts and the science, not your anthropological musings. COVID is neither an agent of the patriarchy nor a revolutionary uprising. It's a virus.
Apologies. It just annoys me. It is clear that certain journalists have one theme they vehemently advance, and any new development must be adapted to that predetermined framework.
