I'm fine with a weekly check in. My wife and I have always been on the same page. the key to more of that is actually spending time together, talking to her, listening to her….helping with the kids and stuff around the house.
frick that! Unless you both only want it once a week. If I wanna bust one every day, she's gonna help out. She knew I had a high sex drive when we got married. Hell even her preacher told her it was the woman's duty and not to use sex as a bargaining chip. He said once she did that, she has now made it a commodity. And just like other commodities it can be had elsewhere, often better and at a lower price. Also pointed out that commodities decrease in value as they get older and worn out. Great man IMHO. Best marital advice he could have ever given. He told me to treat her with respect. Reciprocate on the sexual end. And quit being an a-hole. I do OK with the first two.

You are on the money. The ex was this way. Life is too short to live like that. The children will be happier if you are too. There is not a good reason to stay in a self created hell like this.

Yep. The only times my wife has said no is like the 3rd time that day, she really is sick, or we're in a public place. She don't cook or clean for shite, but she's up for about anything I want to do to her body. I'm not saying women have to be quite that compliant, but she does get everything she wants and then some without ever asking. She's ever told her friends this when they're cutting off their husbands. She just tells them 1. That makes you a whore if you demand something in return for sex 2. You give the minimum and you will get the minimum. 3. men are gonna f$%k someone. If it ain't you, don't get pissed and be all surprised when it's someone else.

Reason # 435,326 of why I don't see how any female is religious.
