I live in Destin FL - far better place than Park City - No need to thump your chest out. We both live in great places.
PC is packed for Sundance but the slopes are empty. I would have thought that Mr. Local would have know that. Nobody hits the slopes during Sundance. They are down partying balls. I've been 4 years in a row and this is the week we always pick to go because the trails are not very busy.
I cannot believe a local of Park City local would not know this. Year Round? pffft

Depends on where you are of course and what's popular for the year. If you found a good spot, congrats. I've been a couple of times, before I lived here and now that I have, it was about right under peak actually. When Sundance hits most locals stay away from PC proper, so Alta, Snow Basin (a drive but empty right now), etc are better. Condo prices for Sundance drive skiing tourists away.
I never said Park City local, but I live 20 minutes away in SLC. And I'm not skiing this year anyways due to a torn acl.
