Does anyone think that the reason Katrina got so much more money was because the US Government was directly responsible for the flooding?

I definitely think the fact that Bush had FEMA blow the levees factored into that. No doubt about it.

The national trend has been a reverse migration to the cities lately, and events like this tend to hasten it, we will just have to see what happens.
