Most people only post from their microbial feces carriers these days.
TD isn't as spicy without everyone's unique picture identities IMO.

I think they cut back on the avatar sizes again. When I changed to my new one I couldn't get the size I wanted. Some might have disappeared if they didn't resize them.

Most people use mobile site or reduced width.
There is also an option to turn all that off on desktop which makes a less busy screen
